Custom ERP Development: An ERP System for Small Business, Built Around You
Big ERP suites are built for corporations with IT departments and patience. We build ERP systems that fit a small or growing business and go live in stages, not in years.

Mention the word ERP to a small business owner and you can watch them age a year. They picture a two-year implementation, a room full of consultants and a system their team quietly works around. It doesn’t have to be like that. Custom ERP development means we build the system around how your company actually runs, starting with what hurts most, and deliver it in two-week stages. I run Dynomica as Partner & CEO, together with our Co-founder & CTO Alexander Nenov, and this is one of the things we do most often.
Who it’s for
- Trading and distribution companies juggling stock, orders and invoices in separate tools.
- Service companies that need to track technicians, visits, parts and warranties.
- Manufacturers and businesses with more than one site, warehouse or office.
- Companies that bought a generic system and spend more time on workarounds than on work.
If you’re asking whether you need an ERP system for small business at all, that’s a fair question. Sometimes a well-configured ready-made tool is enough, and we’ll tell you if that’s the case.
Small ERP or large ERP?
Small ERP systems
For companies that need the core done well:
- Stock: goods in and out, availability, locations, stocktakes.
- Sales: quotes, orders, customers and price lists.
- Invoicing: invoices and documents generated from the order, not retyped.
- Service: requests, visits, technicians, parts and history per customer.
- Reports: what sold, what’s in stock, who owes what, updated in real time.
A small ERP can go live quickly, because it starts with the modules you use every day and leaves the rest for later.
How to tell which one you need
A quick rule of thumb: if everything happens in one place and the main pain is retyping data, start small. If you have several warehouses, companies or offices, or your ERP must exchange data with five other systems, plan for a larger build from the start, even if you still deliver it piece by piece.
Large ERP systems
For companies with several sites, warehouses or legal entities, more roles and permissions, and a longer list of integrations: accounting software, banks, couriers, online stores, production and partner systems. Here the careful work is in the data model and the integrations, and that’s where experience pays off.
How we work
- Understand. We start with a free 30-minute call, then map how orders, goods, money and information move through your company today.
- Design. We describe modules, roles, documents and integrations in plain language, and agree which stage comes first.
- Deliver in 2-week stages. Every two weeks you get a working part of the system to test with real data. You steer; we build.
- Migrate and launch. We move your existing data, train the team and run alongside the old tools until everyone trusts the new one.
- Support. We maintain the system and add modules as the business grows.
A typical first stage covers one flow end to end, for example from order to invoice, rather than a thin slice of every module. That way the team feels the benefit in daily work straight away, and their feedback shapes the next stage.
The 2-week rhythm matters more than it sounds. It means you never pay for months of work you haven’t seen, and priorities can change as you learn what the system should really do.
Why us
- 18+ years and 120+ projects. Dynomica, founded in 2007, has been building business software for well over a decade and a half.
- Our own team, AI-assisted development, no outsourcing. Your ERP is built by the team you meet.
- Clients that rely on it. Including Viessmann, ViService, EnProconsult and SupportBG.
- We build business software for ourselves too. HotDox, our invoicing, payroll and health & safety product for Bulgarian companies, and Roombre, our hotel software, both come from the same team.
- Integrations are our daily work. Connecting systems is one of Dynomica’s three core areas, alongside custom software and SaaS.

Frequently asked questions
Is a custom ERP more expensive than an off-the-shelf one?
Not necessarily over time. You pay for what you use, with no per-user licences for modules you don't need, and you avoid the cost of workarounds. The upfront cost depends on scope, which is why we start small and grow in stages.
How quickly can a small ERP go live?
We deliver in 2-week stages, so the first working module can be in use early. How long the full system takes depends on the modules and integrations, and we agree the plan before we start.
Can the ERP connect to our accounting software and online store?
Yes, integrations with accounting, banks, couriers, online stores and partner systems are a core part of our work. We check what each system allows in the analysis phase.
What happens to our existing data?
We migrate it: customers, products, stock and history, as agreed. We usually run the new system alongside the old tools for a short time so the team can compare.
Who supports the system after launch?
We do. The team that built it maintains it and adds new modules as your business changes.
