E-commerce Development on bfree: Your Store, Your Server, No Revenue Share
Most e-commerce platforms rent you a shop and take a cut of every sale. bfree works the other way: the code runs on your server, there's no percentage of your turnover, and your data stays yours.

Over the years I’ve watched plenty of online store owners discover, a little too late, that their platform grows its fees as fast as their sales. That’s a big part of why we built bfree, our e-commerce platform. The name stands for “Be Free”, and it’s meant literally: free from revenue share, free to move, free to own your code and data. Our e-commerce development work is built on it.
One honest note before we go further: bfree’s admin and storefront are currently in Bulgarian, and it’s integrated with Bulgarian couriers (Econt, Speedy, DPD and BOX NOW). That makes it best suited to stores selling in Bulgaria and the surrounding region. If you’re an international business entering the Bulgarian market, it’s a strong fit. If you sell mainly elsewhere, let’s talk first about whether it’s right for you.
Who it’s for
- Online stores selling in Bulgaria or the region that are tired of paying a share of turnover.
- Retailers with large catalogues who need a platform that stays fast at scale.
- Wholesalers and distributors who need B2B pricing alongside retail.
- Stores stuck on an ageing Magento, WooCommerce, OpenCart or PrestaShop setup.
- International brands launching a store for Bulgarian customers.
- Businesses that want to own their store as an asset rather than rent it month by month.
What you get with bfree
Ownership
- Code on your server. Your store isn’t rented; it runs on your infrastructure.
- No revenue share. We don’t take a percentage of your sales.
- Your data stays yours. Customers, orders and products are under your control.
Built for scale and B2B
- Tested with 300,000 products. Large catalogues are the normal case, not the exception.
- B2B pricing. Individual prices and conditions for business customers, alongside retail.
Built to sell more
- Upsells to increase average order value.
- Abandoned cart flows to bring customers back.
- A/B tests so decisions are based on data, not on the loudest opinion in the room.
Delivery
Integrations with Econt, Speedy, DPD and BOX NOW, the couriers Bulgarian shoppers actually use. Shipping options sit inside the checkout, so customers choose an office, locker or address without leaving the store.
Why ownership matters
Hosted platforms are easy to start with, and that’s their appeal. The catch shows up later: fees that grow with your turnover, apps you pay for monthly to get basic features, and data that’s awkward to take with you. With bfree the economics are simpler. Your store is an asset you own, and a good month doesn’t automatically mean a bigger bill from your platform.
How we work
- Discovery call. Free, 30 minutes: your catalogue, customers, current platform and what’s not working.
- Plan the store. Structure, design, integrations and B2B rules, agreed in writing.
- Migrate. We move products, customers and orders from Magento, WooCommerce, OpenCart or PrestaShop, and plan redirects so you keep your search rankings.
- Launch in 3–4 weeks. A typical bfree store goes live in three to four weeks.
- Grow. A/B tests, upsells, SEO and ongoing support after launch.
Why us
- We build the platform ourselves. bfree comes from the team at Dynomica, with 18+ years in software and an in-house team, no outsourcing.
- We know search. I’ve been doing SEO since 2004, so rankings aren’t an afterthought in a migration. See our e-commerce SEO service.
- No lock-in. The code is on your server, which is the opposite of lock-in.
- One team for store and systems. Through Dynomica we also connect stores to accounting, ERP and warehouse systems, so orders don’t need retyping.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use bfree if I sell outside Bulgaria?
Honestly, bfree is best suited to stores selling in Bulgaria and the region right now. The admin and storefront are in Bulgarian and the courier integrations are with Bulgarian companies (Econt, Speedy, DPD, BOX NOW). If you're entering the Bulgarian market, it's a good fit; for other markets, let's discuss your case first.
Do you really not take a percentage of sales?
Correct. bfree has no revenue share. The code runs on your server.
Can you migrate my store from WooCommerce or Magento?
Yes. We migrate from Magento, WooCommerce, OpenCart and PrestaShop, including products, customers and orders, and we plan redirects to protect your search rankings.
How long does it take to launch?
A typical launch on bfree takes three to four weeks. Large catalogues, custom B2B rules or complex integrations can add time, and we agree the plan up front.
Will bfree handle a large catalogue?
bfree has been tested with 300,000 products, so large catalogues are well within what it was built for.
