My name is Bozhidar Bonchev, but everyone calls me Bobi. I was born in 1982 and I’m based in Sofia, Bulgaria. I’ve been a web expert since building my first website in 2001, and an SEO expert since 2004. The internet has been my profession, my hobby and my way of life ever since.

Today I’m Partner & CEO of Dynomica (Dynomica Ltd). Together with Alexander Nenov, the company’s Co-founder & CTO, I run the software company, our digital agency Reshenia, the bfree e-commerce platform and our own SaaS products.

My philosophy

We grow together. We see the world. We enjoy the ride.

I believe good business and a good life are built the same way: with people who give you energy. So I work with positive, genuinely nice people, and my clients often become friends. We grow together, and their success is our best business card.

Family comes first. I’m happily married with two wonderful kids. They’re my most successful “project” and the reason everything else makes sense. Some of our best memories come from travelling together.

I look after myself, because everything else depends on it. I train, stay active and try to live in balance. The best decisions come after a workout, not after the fifth coffee.

I’m curious. I love seeing new places, trying things I don’t know and meeting different cultures. Every trip shows me there’s another way to do things, and that goes straight into my work.

I enjoy life at every chance I get and look at things with a sense of humour, myself included. And I never forget to say thank you: to clients, to the team, to family.

Our products

Roombre is cloud software for hotels and guesthouses. EpicStamp measures and certifies the carbon footprint of websites. Krasotata serves beauty salons, bukitime handles appointment booking for lawyers, doctors and consultants, Vedro.ONE runs gyms and studios, and HotDox handles invoicing, payroll and paperwork for Bulgarian companies.

Career

I spent five years at Investor.BG, one of Bulgaria’s largest internet companies, where I managed the dating community Aha.bg and ran Blog.bg, Snimka.bg and Zip.bg.

For the digital print company J Point+ I built and ran the online project Print2day.

As a partner I built Renovator.BG, a company making software for the travel industry and business process automation. Along the way I’ve been involved with projects such as Nasamnatam.com, Peika.bg, Znami.com, and Reshenia.com.

Education

I hold a Master’s degree in Quality and Expertise of Goods and Services from the University of Economics – Varna, and a degree in Applied Informatics. Economics taught me to think about the business; informatics taught me how to automate it.

Off the clock

The sea, yachts and boats are where I think most clearly. I invest in stocks and write my own automations for market analysis. I travel a lot and write about the places I’ve explored, in Bulgarian, on my blog.
